I Can Give Talent

Chapter 530 – Leyvi’s Change

Chapter 530 – Leyvi’s Change

This was not the first time Leyvi had heard of the Alchemy Dominator Sect. The name had come up before, back when he attended the auction hosted by the Alchemy Association together with Selene. In terms of overall scale and influence, the Alchemy Association was far more powerful. Its reach extended across the entire Cloud Continent, touching nearly every region. However, it was never included in the ranking of alchemy organizations. The reason was simple. The Association was not an independent force, but a governing body under the Protector, tasked with guiding and regulating the development of alchemy throughout the continent.

Its role was not to compete, but to oversee.

They promoted growth, set standards, and enforced rules. Certain practices were strictly forbidden, such as using humans as ingredients. Those who violated such rules would face execution without exception. Even the creation and circulation of dangerous alchemical products were tightly controlled to prevent harm.

Because of this, when it came to independent factions, the Alchemy Dominator Sect stood at the very top without dispute. Unlike the Association, they were driven purely by their own interests, constantly expanding their power and influence wherever they could.

After taking a moment to steady himself, Leyvi shared what he had uncovered.

The reaction was immediate.

Dorin, Selene, Ava, Nala, and Layla all showed clear shock.

It was not surprising. Dorin Homun, Selene Goldstone, and Ava Clover all came from prestigious alchemy families, so the weight of that name was something they understood well. Nala, who had once traveled widely, had also heard enough to know what it implied. As for Layla, being a City Lord meant she had to stay informed about major forces across the continent.

The others, however, reacted differently. Those unfamiliar with the sect did not share the same shock. Instead, curiosity filled the room as questions began to form.

Anda remained quiet.

She knew about the Alchemy Dominator Sect as well, but unlike the others, she had already suspected this possibility earlier. Now that it was confirmed, the surprise did not hit her as strongly.

"Big Madam, how strong is this Alchemy Dominator Sect?" Sayu asked, her tone cautious. As a maid, her world had always been smaller, and names like this carried little meaning until now.

Anda did not answer immediately. She looked at the crystal balls for a moment before speaking.

"In this continent, they are extremely powerful," she said calmly. "They possess a legendary technique called the Heavenly Touch Alchemy Method. It allows them to raise the grade of their alchemical products beyond what others can achieve. Because of that, their pills are always of superior quality, and that alone brings them immense wealth."

She paused briefly, letting the weight of that sink in.

"With that wealth, they have nurtured a large number of Alchemic Knights over the years. These cultivators are not ordinary. They are personally supported by the sect's resources, trained and equipped to serve their interests. The ones we captured…" she glanced at the crystals again, "are most likely the Alchemic Knights under their Holy Son."

A faint tension settled in the room.

Dorin frowned, her dissatisfaction clear. "Hmph. Do they think they are above the law now? Kidnapping people in broad daylight? They even dare to ignore the rules set by the Protectors. We should report them."

Anda gave her a look and gestured lightly toward the crystal balls.

"And how exactly are we going to explain this?"

Dorin opened her mouth, then stopped. "Oh… right."

The others who had the same thought also fell silent. It was not that they did not want to report it. It was that they could not.

Under normal circumstances, the current Leyan Family should not have been able to deal with a group like this at all. Yet here they were, not only unharmed but with all their attackers captured. There was no way to explain that without revealing their great secret.

The Universe Airship.

This airship alone was worth more than anything else in the world.

If it ever became known, it would not just attract attention. It would draw the eyes of powerful forces across the entire world. At that point, there was no way they could live peacefully ever again. Not in this world.

Yes, they could retreat to the Mystic Realm planet and live there in isolation.

But that was never the path Leyvi and Anda wanted for their family.

Not a life hidden away from everything else.

"This is so frustrating! Can't we do anything to that Holy Son? I want to beat him until even his parents wouldn't recognize him!" Ava said, stomping her foot in anger.

"We don't know if this was planned by him alone or if the higher-ups in the sect are involved," Layla replied, her voice carrying a trace of concern. "If it's the latter, then the next move they make will be far more dangerous."

Her words settled heavily over the group.

The earlier tension returned, this time sharper.

Leyvi did not let it linger for long.

"Alright. I'll continue extracting information," he said, his tone steady. "It's actually fortunate that the Holy Son sent this many people. Normally, just a few would have been enough to deal with what we appear to be. Now we have more sources to work with."

He glanced at the row of crystal balls.

"I'll keep using them to practice the soul-searching technique while gathering information. Once we have enough, we'll decide what to do next."

There was no hesitation in his voice.

Two of the nascent souls had already dissipated during his earlier attempt, but that did not trouble him. These were not innocent people. They came with the intent to harm his family. Whether they survived the process or not made no difference to him.

After taking a moment to recover his focus, Leyvi once again sought out Selene's help. With her assistance, the lingering strain on his mind was cleared, allowing him to proceed without delay.

He returned to the crystals and began again. The third soul.

This time, the process felt more controlled. The overwhelming flood from before had been tempered by experience. He moved through the memories with clearer intent, filtering what he needed while discarding the rest.

When it ended, that soul did not survive either.

Leyvi stepped back, steadied himself, then repeated the process. Heal, search, withdraw. Again and again, he refined his approach, growing more familiar with the technique each time.

By the fourth and fifth attempts, his control improved further. The strain was still there, but it no longer overwhelmed him.

Then came the sixth.

For the first time, the process did not end in collapse. Leyvi withdrew his spiritual sense slowly, his breathing controlled as he opened his eyes.

Inside the crystal, the nascent soul still remained. It flickered weakly, its form unstable and dim, as if much of it had been stripped away. Its memories were likely fragmented, perhaps even mostly gone.

But it was still alive. That alone marked a clear improvement.

This progress shocked Alita greatly. After all, most soul searches led to the soul's demise. To obtain the desired information while preserving the soul's life was very rare, even among the skilled. Yet Leyvi had accomplished it on only his sixth attempt, and he had not ended the search prematurely either. He had obtained exactly the information he wanted. She had heard Anda brag a few times about Leyvi's spiritual cultivation talent, but this still exceeded her expectations.

Leyvi continued his streak. Thanks to his already strong willpower and Selene's remarkable ability to heal the mind, he did not have to worry about the side effects of soul searching, allowing him to proceed continuously.

After finishing with the twelfth soul, Leyvi finally stopped. All the nascent souls from the sixth to the twelfth had survived his searches, each in better condition than the last.

The reason he stopped was that he had gathered enough information to decide his next step.

"This Holy Son is supposedly recognized as the best alchemist among the younger generation in our continent." Leyvi's voice was tight. "He learned about Anda from one of his Alchemic Knights who participated in the Mystic Realm expedition. Apparently, this Alchemic Knight was a member of Bellion's faction. He saw how extraordinary Anda was, to the point of being compared with Supreme Alchemist Mujin, one of the top young alchemists in the Protogaea Continent. So he suggested to the Holy Son that he recruit Anda."

His jaw clenched.

"But this piece of shit, when he heard that Anda was already married and could not become his concubine, decided to kidnap Anda secretly and force her to be a slave alchemist."

Leyvi gritted his teeth as he spoke the last words, his eyes burning with silent rage.

The ladies immediately erupted in anger. They cursed the Holy Son with every word they could muster. How dare this piece of shit treat their beloved Big Madam like this?

After weighing his options, Leyvi decided it was time to be active for the first time, rather than remain passive as he always had. He would strike first, rather than wait for another attack to come. Thankfully, this kidnapping had been the Holy Son's idea alone, with no higher-ups involved. That made him easier to deal with.

Although the Leyan Family members still lacked cultivation strength, Leyvi realized he now had the necessary cards to deal with those who chose to be his enemies.

"Senior Lapin." Leyvi called.

Lapin was not in the room with them, but Leyvi knew he had been paying attention to everything.

The next moment, a cloud formed in the room and condensed into a human figure with rabbit features. Two long ears and two prominent buck teeth.

"Kekeke! I am here." Lapin's eyes sparkled with anticipation. "Human Leyvi, what do you need me to do? Assassinate that Holy Son?"

"No need. I do not want you to be exposed by any chance. I only need you to track this Holy Son secretly using your celestial cloud. When the right time comes, he will vanish from this world forever." Leyvi said calmly, arms crossed, already enacting the plan that had formed in his mind.

At that moment, everyone felt a shift in Leyvi's presence. Most could not pinpoint exactly what had changed, but it was unmistakable.

Anda smiled inwardly. Thank you, you stupid Holy Son.

Thanks to him, her husband seemed to have awakened. He now exuded an intimidating presence, the kind only experienced leaders could project. Not an aura born from cultivation realm, but from individuality.
